ChoiceMail One stands out as a leader among email software products that filter spam. Many email filters rely on users to continually establish and maintain rules; the ChoiceMail One anti-spam system is Permission-Based, with an option to use several features to deal with email from unknown senders and rules for special situations. This flexible system returns control of the inbox to the email user.
Most anti-spam solutions on the market lock users into a full challenge/response system or one based on rules or Bayesian Theory filters which spammers have found ways to beat, ChoiceMail One employs a unique combination of methods that together effectively stop 100% spam.
ChoiceMail is different. It's a permission based spam blocker that customizes itself to you. Permission-based means ChoiceMail assumes email is spam unless it knows otherwise.
Only approved email gets into your inbox. ChoiceMail automatically approves email from people you know and trust. It lets you create simple rules to approve email that is important to you. And it lets you automatically query unknown senders to find out who they are and what they want before their email gets into your inbox. Then you get to decide if this is someone you want to hear from. Legitimate senders respond to this query, but spammers never do.
ChoiceMail One contains one list of people from whom messages are always allowed and another list of senders that are never allowed. If the sender is on neither of these lists, the ChoiceMail One user can select the option of having the system send a new message, a query, back to the sender of the original message giving them the ability to prioritize delivery of their message.
When the sender responds to the query, ChoiceMail One presents the identification of the sender to the ChoiceMail One user for approval. For situations such as mailing lists, newsletters and emails from tech support departments that require special handling, ChoiceMail One provides virtual email addresses to allow such emails to come through unchallenged. The result with ChoiceMail One is that the user controls the email inbox with minimal effort and absolute certainty.
