Well Animated GIFs is an outdated stuff !

    First of all, why do you need an animated GIF image when you have something called flash. I don't see any reason for you to buy this software unless you suck at flash. On the other hand, animated GIF can be useful in case you have a limitation where flash object can't be added.

    Besides the price tag is too much. I have seen softwares which are much much better at doing complicated things than this. But assuming you are one of those who have just stepped in animation field and are not too comfortable with flash, then you can go give it a shot by grabbing the free trial since its very easy to use and has a simple user friendly interface.

    But as people say, there is gold hidden in the sand. Coffee Cup GIF Animator has a feature where it allows to import .avi video and convert it into GIF images.

    Conclusion:

    Not a totally useless software but not the one which I would like to add in my kitty specially considering the price.
