Cosmo Bots Review
The worst game I've ever had the displeasure of playing.
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Catchy opening theme
Too Exspensive, Dull, Unchallenging, no online leaderboards, repetitive, unoriginal
Listed at $17.99, I think its safe to say the free trial was too expensive for my taste in regards to the twenty minutes of my time Ill never get back.
The gameplay revolves around an enclosed space inhabited by the "Cosmo Bots", with an annoying picture of turd-like asteroids stuck firmly in the background. Your mission, using the "shooter", a double sided light-saber like instrument (but nowhere near as cool) is to shoot "lines" which fill parts of the level until its 85% full, while avoiding letting the "Baddies" touch your line.
Its pretty simple; You fill the level to win, and if a baddie touches your line, you lose a life. The levels get progressively less interesting overall, and there are over five-hundred of them.
But wait, theres more. A baddie caught within one of your lines dies, giving you exra score and sometimes dropping either a powerup or a power-down, neither of which affects the gameplay much at all. If you exterminate all the baddies, you win the level with an impressive bonus score.
There really isnt a way to lose at this game. If you lose all your lives, you can simply start over the last level you unlocked, each of which is marked with a number and features a rectangular shape to fill in.
All in all, there isnt much I can say about this game except that it elicits the strongest of apathetic responses from me in the least exciting way. I see no reason why someone with a perfectly good seventeen dollars and ninty-nine cents to spend should find this appealing.
Not worth the time or the money.
