You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Pros:
Direct Burn to Cd/Dvd, as well as export to iPod. Video/Audio encoding formats will suit most people. Supports input of most every format for audio. +1 for Zune support.
Cons:
Does not include FLAC format, although the necessity of this is debatable. UI could be improved, such as adding sidebars and a menu toolbar.
Review:

SoundTaxi Professional isn't a bad product. In fact, considering the nature of it's intent it's one of the better ones on the market. The UI could be better, but it's pretty clean.

The options available for music encoding are limited to Mp3, M4A, WAV, and WMA. There are others, however, such as the FLAC format - FLAC being one of the formats becoming ever more popular because it has the size of an mp3 file and the quality of a WAV file. I feel like that should be included. Although you can select entire files to encode for one format and export to another specific folder - such as your iTunes music folder - which is quite intuitive and handy.

As far as video encoding goes, there could be a lot more in this department as well. It includes the basics, Apple Mp4 and Standard-Definition DivX, but what if I have a HD video i need to be encoded? I need it to be downgraded to 480 p/i format? We are moving into the high-definition age and this is also something that should be included.

However, you do get what you pay for. this is a $25.00 program and I understand designing of all these codecs is probably not the easiest task. In conclusion I believe SoundTaxi Pro is an excellent program for the price, and gets the job done as far as the everyday man's music goes. We aren't all DJs with needs for advanced FLAC formats, and even if we were we still have WAV encoding which is excellent in itself. Not to mention the direct burn to CD/export to iPod.

Conclusion:

Fairly intuitive UI, allows batch encoding with a variety of formats, suits the everyday man's needs. Reasonable pricing.
