Ant War Review

An addictive tycoon game that is ultimately NOT worth the price.

Ant wars, a turn based tycoon game, puts you in control of a Colony of ants. Your objective? World domination! By adjusting the percentage of your colonies focus to gather food, grow population, build the nest, and defend/fight enemies you will dictate whether your colony thrives or dies.

The quick pace of the game and the addictive desire to accomplish the final task of world domination will engage you for hours, but for the price one must pay this game is not worth purchasing.

To begin the 2D graphics offer little visual engagement.

There is almost no animation, and certainly no entertaining animation. Clouds’ moving across the sky does not make it OK not to have any battle animations other then bubbles popping up saying "Miss" or "Hit." The weather animations bring some change to the look of the game, and so does the ability to change locations, but for the amount of time it takes to play the game these slight animations aren't enough.

Finally, once the basic strategy for the game is learned the game becomes a repetitious process that despite being addicting is not entertaining.

Ant Wars would be a great Free online flash game, but it isn't. Ant Wars currently costs $17.99 you can get much more from other games with that amount of money. DON'T BUY!!!
