Review:

Enigmo is a 3D puzzle game developed by MumboJumbo, the same people behind the iOS version of the game.

With Enigmo the premise is simple - there's fluid flowing uncontrollably (yet tidily distributed in quickly spawning droplets) and your objective is to collect these droplets. How? By using various elements at your disposal to redirect the flow towards small containers.

Literally, it's as complex as it gets. However, Enigmo will have you busting your brains to figure out how and where to use the different tools you are given. Not to worry, though - the game's difficulty is increased progressively as you beat the levels, which gives you more than enough time to get used to how things work.

When it comes to simplicity, MumboJumbo's title succeeds at keeping things plain and simple, yet incredibly addicting. It's because of this simplicity that you will have a hard time putting it down. Of course, in its simplicity the game challenges you to put a little more effort and thinking into your strategies, so as to beat the level as fast as possible and get a higher bonus. In other words, the faster you beat a level, the more points you get.

Although Enigmo is a really fun, addicting game, some little details put me off while playing it.

To begin with, the graphics haven't been polished. What you get in the mobile version is what you get in the PC version. Polishing the visuals up a bit would've been a nice touch. Also, the sound effects quickly get annoying - the droplets start to sound like a jackhammer in your head in no time. Even with the music on.

Overall, Enigmo is a really simple, fun and addictive game which you will either love or just occasionally dust off to kill some time. It's up to you to give it a try!

Conclusion:

A puzzle which will appeal to most in its simplicity and entertaining gameplay, but lacks some finishing touches.
