New Software To Be Reviewed Review
Governor of Poker 2
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Fast installation and a nice little story. Play poker, invest, lose, win and invest again.
Not so intelligent artificial intelligence. Not recommended for experienced players.
I first encountered this game about 6 months ago when my brother asked me to download it for him. He was and still is very inexperienced when it comes to computer using but after I installed the demo he started enjoying it right away. He enjoyed it so much that I helped him buy the full version. The game is about a little cowboy who travels from town to town in his rush for poker winnings but in orther to get to the second town and all the others you have to buy the full game. You can buy houses in each town and unlock new opponents and you even encounter bosses. You have to battle them, of course, with your bare...well, cards because this is still a Texas hold'em poker game. The graphics are very basic but the poker is not about the graphics. At the end is a fun game to play if you are a beginner when it comes to poker, or else it becomes very repetitive and predictable.
The game can become repetitive at times but the worst of all, very predictable. You will not notice it if you are not an experienced player but if you are, stay away from it. Do no get me wrong, it is fun and nice to play for most of the people. It just misses the human's touch. Let's say this is an Arcade Poker game but who doesn't love a good arcade game every once in a while?
