Pics Print Review
Untidy, underpowered and too expensive!
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
None to be completely honest, there are many free apps that offer more functionality/a better GUI.
Untidy/Unpolished GUI, Hard to use (as icons are almost hidden from the end user) and too expensive for what it is.
When you first boot up Pics Print you are presented with a welcome screen that is cluttered with blocks of text, the GUI looks like it is from Windows 98 mashed together with a blue theme every now and then and the whole application just looks incredibly untidy, which pretty much sets the standard for the whole app.
The menu/shortcuts layout needs to be revamped/scrapped as there are too many tools that average/everyday users of computers will look at and not know where to find the button they're looking for. If you want to say for example add a sepia color effect to your current image you are editing a new window pops up and you are given no indication as to where the sepia effect is nor any of the other effects are, you have to put your mouse over each little icon to see what effect it is.
Sure, it does what it says it can do but for $41(AUD) I can think of many free applications that are much better in terms of ease of use and general look and feel.
It feels like a half-finished product that could have been a good product if the devs had put on an extra layer (or two) of polish.
