Review:

I’m no big fan of word games, but Weave Words really got me hooked. I’d say that this is a new game genre that I’d call word strategy games.

Weave Words rules are quite simple. You have a bunch of letter tiles on a hexagonal grid (nice touch, by the way) that you have to connect in order to make a word. The longer the word, more points you make. In addition to that, if you come up with a really long word, you get to open two or three letters, not one. So far, my longest word is Beast.

Ok, once you made the word, you can click on any letter of the word and see if it’s in the phrase.
This is where the strategy comes in. First, you want to make up words with A, E, I, O and click those. After that, you can guess what the ending of the words in the phrase might be (like ING or INE). So you need open some of those.

Here is another important aspect of the game. Let’s say you made up the word TILE and clicked T. If there is no T in the phrase, you’ll lose one life (there is a total of five). Once you are out of lives, you have to guess the phrase (these are really quite simple, like MICROWAVE OVEN)

In addition to that, there are special bonuses, but I did not fully grasp the meaning of those, except for the fact that you get double or triple the points for some letters.

The game graphics is really nice and the music is very soothing.

Conclusion:

I don't want to say that I highly recommend that you try the game. Let me put it this way. You'll be really greateful to me if you download it. Seriously.
