SuperBot Review
SuperBot - might not download everything on a page
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Simple websites will not be able to resist - they will be downloaded
Advanced media-filled webpages will most likely not display correctly
SuperBot is a utility that helps you get your favorite online content straight to your computer so that when and if the unspeakable happens (aka: the website gets deleted), you still have it (and can subsequently use it). SuperBot can allegedly download files, folders, webpages, etc. with only one click.
OK, let's get to the details - yes, SuperBot can download all of those things, but the real problem lies within what exactly gets downloaded and what not. Although it claims to reproduce the website exactly as it is online, Superbot was unable to download some of the pictures from a website, it was unable to load some of the components of the pages and if you're keen on getting SuperBot to download flash - don't bother, you're not gonna have any luck either.
Although if you're going to download simple webpages, that don't have embedded movies, images like the ones on blogs and you want a simple solution Superbot will fit your needs.
SuperBot is also fairly easy to use if the website is simple - all you've got to do is select the download type (One webpage, Full site, etc.), insert the site address, the local directory where the files are to be saved and you're set - press the DOWNLOAD button and you're off.
The user interface is not that pretty - for a web-page downloader it's OK though, acceptable.
If you're only gonna download text and a couple of images - it's OK, if you think you're going to want to do more than that, find something better.
