ZoneTick World Time Clock Review
I'm a Clockaholic
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Compact, useful, accurate, FULL of features.
Expensive, consumes plenty of memory for a basic utility.
ZoneTick's World Time Clock is truly a marvelous utility. It's simple, compact, fast, and it's the best at what it does.
The modified clock replaces the plain, old Windows clock in the task bar, with a brand-new shining digital wonder.
Hover your mouse over it, and it will show you the time in as many different places as you desire.
Sydney, Tokyo, London, New York, Brisbane, you name it, they have it. This is PERFECT for a businessman or professional who needs to communicate with people across the world, or even for travelers who need to stay in tuned with the time zones around the world.
There is a provision for Daylight Saving Time, so no more pesky fiddling around with clocks, trying to figure out what the time is.
The clock consumes around 7k memory on default settings, which is quite alot. If you were to add time zones, then your memory would fly to 15k+. That's more then, say, MSN Messenger, and this could bog down old PCs.
For $18, I'm not quite sure whether it's worth the money. $5? Possibly. $10? Maybe. But $18 does sound a bit excessive.
Overall, an awesome freebie, but probably not worth the money spent. Get it if you have extra money and you don't know what to do with it.
