Pros:
Has cute graphics, vibrant colors and the music is satisfactory.
Cons:
Playability is severely limited if all you've got is a keyboard. Just flat out annoying if that is the case. Repetitive sound effects (which are not affiliated with your character)can get on your nerves quite fast.
Review:

Brave Dwarves 2 showed a little promise when I first downloaded the demo. However the limited playability, combined with the constant, irritating background sound effects made me want to quit not long after I began playing. Ummm...yeah. No spending long hours being enchanted by this game for sure. Thankfully, in the options section you can do things like turn down the sound etc.

This is a platform game very much reminiscent of either Sega Genesis or Super Nintendo console games. However, since this is a PC game, the ability to play it is very limited if you don't have a game controller like those of the aforementioned console game machines. In this game you cannot use a mouse and so if you don't have that handy dandy game controller, you are stuck using the keyboard.

The controls for the keyboard can be customized in the options section of the game menu, but still...playing this type of game using a keyboard is just annoying. At least it was for me.

The music for the game was acceptable and combined with the vibrant colors and cute animations gave the game a fun feel despite it's (to me) huge drawbacks. The storyline given before you actually play does not seem to have much bearing on the actual gameplay either. It is a pretext to get you playing and nothing more from my perspective.

In the game, you can play either as a magician or as a warrior. In the demo all you can play is a magician, so I wasn't able to play from the fighter's perspective. Even so, the magician was kinda cool. He has this wand that blasts frogs, and snakes and ghosts and he gets to run around and gather up gold and jewels etc.

All in all, a kids game. Period. Perhaps when I was ten years old I would not have been as annoyed as I am now by games that just do not play up to the standards they profess for themselves.

Conclusion:

This is a kid's game which I am sure would enthrall those six years old and up to ten perhaps. Older than that, and I think you will lose interest fairly quickly.
