BrickShooter Review
Colorful blocks of mediocrity.
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Simple, narrow-minded fun. The game itself is a good concept, but could be largely improved upon.
Bad instructions, animations, and sound sway people away from the thought of buying the game.
Ever wonder what would have happened to Tetris if the developer just would've given up? The answer is this game. While the color and simplicity will keep you interested for a short while, the game itself lacks the fundamentals that would normally leave you wanting more.
The game also lacks a since of instruction. You are forced into the game without mental or instructional preparation as to what you're supposed to be accomplishing and how you're supposed to accomplish it. Instead you are left to struggle helplessly to piece together how the game works when you manipulate certain aspects of play.
While you mindlessly attempt to connect the colorful blocks with other colorful blocks, you will come upon a small annoyance. While the game itself supports music and general explosive sounds, the quality of those lack in comparison to other games on the market today.
While the other aspects took mere paragraphs to explain, I can sum up animation in several sentences. It's stiff, choppy, and overall not the eye candy you could have been expecting.
For $18.00 this game is incredibly overpriced, and under-developed. I would definitely attempt to stay away from it, at least until they upgrade it drastically.
