Review:

The first thing to ask yourself before buying this is, "Do I like Scrabble?", as entire game is based around picking letters to form words and damage your opponents in a fantasy-themed world. There's a few neat touches, such as the online scoreboard, and the bosses are a challenge. However, the main brunt of the game - killing random creatures - is far too easy, as they have little health, while the opposite is true for the player - you have too much health.

The graphics and backgrounds become tired after a few levels - can't we see some colour once in a while? The developers seem to be fans of grey, and the "dungeon" is, every time, a creature with a door behind it's back. Wow, great exploration-adventure going on there!

The gameplay also becomes slightly repetitive. Spell words, kill monster, repeat for 25 dungeons of "terrifying creatures" that barely get stronger as the game progresses. Which leads me to another point - there's nothing to liven up the combat. Monsters hit you, you hit them - there's no special spells that can be cast when you use a certain word, or hit a milestone of creatures killed, which certainly would have made me much more intrested.

Conclusion:

Overall, it's a good game with flaws and the price tag isn't too hefty; reccomended if you like Scrabble.
