AutoImager Review
AutoImager - simplicity and convenience
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Fast installation, very user friendly and simple.
Some glitches and bugs that will require some update.
Whenever I need to convert a picture from format A to format B I google for the first, simplest and (size wise) smallest freeware. Like most people, I want something fast and easy. Once the conversion is done, I instantly delete the freeware. Though I will be keeping AutoImager.
Mystik Media entices possible consumers with promises of "easy-to-use" and "full-featured". It's hard not to think that these factors are contradictory. I believe that AutoImager has found a good balance between the two.
The setup file is less than 5 MB and it takes about half a minute to have the program installed and running. Everything is conveniently clickable and doesn't really require any previous know-how. With several filters to choose from and more than enough formats to select, this freeware seem to get the job done.
However, it wasn't all smooth. The software crashed twice during the process of filtering and converting. Twice in 30 pictures isn't that I guess. What really bothered me was that each time I wanted convert a single or bunch of pictures I had to re-choose the output folder. After rigorously working my way through 30 pictures of several different types of formats, picture by picture, changing and combining filter styles and formats, you can easily imagine how tiring it was to select the same output folder each and every time.
If you intend to manipulate pictures more than twice a week, avoid AutoImager. AutoImager is more than enough for inexperienced.
