Puzzle Express Review

What a clever way to modify Tetris. It’s official, guys – Puzzle Express is very, very cool. I mean developers must have pool a lot of efforts into the game. Graphics is very simple and very clean (2D), which is very appropriate for this kind of game. The music is excellent – a sort of country-western theme complete with harmonica. Great.

Ok, the gameplay. Usually in Tetris pieces fall down. Not the case with Puzzle Express. In this game, the pieces are put on a conveyor belt. You pick them up, rotate with the right mouse button and place onto train cars. Every time a row is complete, it disappears and you start seeing a part of some picture.

There also are some bonuses, but these don’t really do much. Oh, and the design of pieces is quite a bit different from the original Tetris.

Also there are two game modes. One if Express and that one has a time limit (first – five minutes, than four minutes, etc.) The other mode is Scenic and it’s really, really cool.

No time limit and you get to pick your destination. Once you pass a level, you pick a place where you want to do. Chicago or New York, for example. And you’ll see the pictures for the city of destination. Puzzle Express is a great game, I tell you.
