BrickShooter Review
Just another brick in the wall...
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Challenging concept. Variable difficulty. Built in music selection. Save game feature.
Poorly designed. Tedious concept. Irritating music. Glitchy gameplay.
At first glance I was expecting a clever, challenging puzzle game. With such a high price tag, it had to be good, right? Wrong.
Before I even mention the game play, BrickShooter is a very aesthetically disappointing game. The graphics and interface are unimpressive, and the music is nothing short of torture. I have seen much better work in browser-based, and most importantly -free- games.
With such a simple concept I would think that the creator would be able to rid the game of major glitches; however, once again I have been proven wrong. Within the first five minutes of play, I encountered my first of many noticeable glitches.
With all of the ugliness glaring out at me from BrickShooter, I figured that the price tag must be justified by innovative concepts and an overall well-executed strategy game. Don't get me wrong, I love puzzle games, but I absolutely hated this game. I played for hours, waiting to be hooked or at the very least to become interested. I was left bored and disappointed.
BrickShooter is a good way to kill a couple of hours but I would not recommend shelling out $20 for the experience.
