You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Ease of use, great registery search / snapshot ability
risk of system crash / failure
Pro’s – This is an extremely useful piece of software for backing up, restoring, searching and editing registry configurations. This program is easy to use, and provides a simple means of removing common Windows problems. This is a good time saving program for the IT professional. This program not recommend for the average end user.
Functionality-
The program gives the user the ability to perform these specific tasks:
Registry maintenance:
Checks the registry for errors – This function checks the registry for common errors, corrupt registry paths, and unused values. This runs an automated search/fix for these items. This function is useful if you understand what these registry values are, and what the affects on the OS will be when the value is “corrected.” This is of great use for the IT professional, however, not the average user.
Defragment registry: This is a fully automated process that’s main purpose is to compress the registry. The probability of registry corruption during this process is pretty high. Have a disaster recovery plan in place when using this function.
Search the registry / Registry snapshots – This is the most beneficial function that this software offers. The user interface is great, and give the ability to compare and contrast saved registry files. Great function when making large changes in a server environment.
Registry backup – enables the user to backup and restore registry files. This makes backing up and restoring the registry very simple.
Conclusion: This program is more beneficial for the IT professional then the average user. If you are looking for a magical program that will rid your computer of viruses, problems with performance, and random error messages, this is not the program you are looking for and will create more harm then good.
