n-Track Studio Review
Time is Money, Money is Time.
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Looks great, Costs little.
Runs slow, hard to import tracks, and in general not very user-friendly
I've used n-Track for almost three months now and I can't say many positive things about it. It does have a nice look to it and great features, but they are overridden by the slow processing rate and difficulty of use. It doesn't take an expert to run the program, but there are easier-to-use programs out there.
The interface is good-looking and easy to follow, and the features go beyond the minimums you usually see in programs at a lower price. None the less, it runs very slowly. On my last computer it used almost 20% of the computer's memory. My new computer hardly runs the program any smoother and I doubled my memory. The problems with use come primarily in a not so user-friendly way. Getting tracks into n-Track takes more time and effort than most other programs. Various other features could also be more user-friendly, but it all goes to the speed of the program and how frustratingly slow it can be.
I bought n-Track rather than Adobe Audition because it was cheaper. I still use it because I can't afford anything else, but I'm trying to make money just to get a different program. I would recommend n-Track only for people who need to save money and don't mind a learning-curve and putting in extra time.
There are much better choices out there, but if you can't afford them and have extra time to spend with the program, then n-Track should do the trick.
