Spyware Doctor Review

Spyware Doctor is another free spyware program on offer that claims to rid your PC of vicious spyware, malware and certain Trojans. The claims are true and this program has become part of my spyware removal tool kit!
Vicious program are becoming more and more sophisticated, that latest versions that install to your hard drive include key loggers that can keep track of all the keys you press. This information is relayed to the creator of the software in a bid to find usernames and passwords to financial information. As I do my banking online, I don't want to risk the chance of this and I am trying to take every possible defence to combat this malicious software. More dangerous types of spyware includes application that take screen shots of your monitor and are sent back to the creator, who are trying gather personal information, once again in a bid to access accounts which would benefit them financially.

This is the higher end of the scale, the more common types on spyware install to your computer and watch your surfing habits and displaying adverts based on them. Another is that whenever you go to purchase something online, the vicious software will add codes and addresses to the transaction so they can benefit from affiliate schemes where it looks as if the creator of the malware has directed you to buy the item from via there web site. It's all in the name of money, and I am going to do anything and everything to stop this happening to me. Unwanted programs use up hard drive space and slow down the performance and speed of your PC. Spyware Doctor should be part of your spyware removal tool kit too.
Removes all kinds of software. This one finds spyware that other spyware scanners don't! This is a good thing and a bad thing, even though this finds items that others don't, this is also vice versa. Other spyware removal programs find things this one doesn't.

-- Installation --
Installation is very quick and easy. It's a very standard installation where you agree to terms and conditions and click a few buttons. Straight away after installation the program is ready to use, it also connects to the main web server and looks for updates so that before you do your first scan you have the latest definitions and help files. I had did have to play around with some settings after the installation so that this program wouldn't keep starting on my computer start up, as it drained memory and I only use it on demand. But, it's more personal preference than anything else. I think I've been infected so much by spyware and malware that I notice when something isn't right with my PC.

-- Using the program --
This program is very easy to use and it is very self-explanatory, to do a scan you click on scan button on the main screen. You can then choose a full, smart or custom scan and then the scan is carried out. During the scan you can see if anything software is on your machine, as a tally is kept. On completion, a list is displayed of all items found. You tick the items you want removed and then you click the button called fix checked. It is very easy, and the outcomes are very beneficial. Spyware doctor comes with it's own help files and they are very useful on finding out on what other things Spyware Doctor can do for you. This is one of the best pieces of software available.
