Really easy and it delivers what is promisses. Backups of your DVD movies. Nothing less.
Hefty Price for just a another dvd backup program.
It does all it promisses. It backups all copy protected discs including difficult to backup ones. I tested it on a couple of discs even anydvd couldnt copy and although it took its time it did make the promised backup.
The program is split in two: Express and Gold. Both of them with a novice user in mind.
The express is really easy to use. So easy even a ..... Exactly.
I do have some issues. It does ask what the region code is strip the protection. I think it is too much to ask from its intended adience.
Gold version. Also really basic setup. Nothing difficult also works like a breeze. Really straight forward. Not too much choice here. Also with a starting user in mind with just a little more options. No advanced options, but still good working decent software.
For its intended audience it works really well.
For the normal user who knows how to burn a cd however, this software frustrates after a couple of uses. For this price the gold version should have all options you could ask for, not just a select view.
It does deliver. If you just want make backups of your dvd movies, search no further. It also copies copyrighted "bad sector" disks. However if you do not have such copyprotection the price is a major downer.
