Aqua Deskperience Review
Aqua Deskperience, many features but shallow
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Nice layout, easy to use and install, lots of shortcut keys, overflowing with features.
Nothing much to offer. Expensive, you get some of the features for free on the net.
I did find the software cool, on the ideas but very thin on the execution of these ideas. At best
they just replicated what is already available in many other applications online... many are also
freeware.
The idea of executing tasks on a minimum number of keystroke is very welcome. It certainly shortens
the time one needs to finish a particular job. Most of the shortcuts use two or three keys, which
are; CTRL, SHIFT and either one of the mouse keys.
Most fascinating is the idea of capturing images both in rectangular and free form from the desktop. It is a piece of cake and the best thing about it is, in case you want to edit it, it takes you
directly to a picture editor like in my case Microsoft Picture Manager. This is one of the features
I found missing on other applications (one has to copy the entire picture in other software’s).
Text capture was just as good. What struck me most is the ability to create your own custom search
for use either on the web or on local application. This, however presented a hurdle, I couldn't do
webs search because I don’t have internet connection.
What I found wanting or rather needing further explanation is, will Aqua Deskperience reveal any
password no matter the encryptions used? I had a problem getting some password revealed and by the way what happens if you don’t get the asterisks?
I feel confident to say that should the software would do better if it is to be targeted on a particular use, either picture editing or word processing, otherwise it has too much on both side but fails to do well on either of them.
Aqua Deskperience is a good feature loaded application, unfortunately it executes most of them "thinly"
