BrickShooter Review
I thought it was something like Tetris....
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
You can take all the time in the world to figure out the correct placement of blocks, practically no challenge at all if you really crack your head at it.
I don't know why, somehow it fails to capture my attention, not to mention addiction. Maybe it is due to the monotonous graphical blocks. There is no cute icons or characters popping up now and then to make the game more desirable.
I LOVE Tetris and its evolutions such as Treasure Fall.It hooks me for months.
Basically, one would only need to connect three bricks of the same colors together either horizontally, vertically or in L shape. At first, I thought it was quite easy to attain the required goal but after playing it for a while, it seems you got to put your brain on it.
Nothing fancy can be said about the graphics. The square bricks with its solid colors look so boring. It would be nicer if the bricks comes in sparkling colors and glare. The background is black in color. Can't they choose any other color or using for example some outer space background. It would add more characters and attractiveness to the game.
I would say this game would be a HIT when computer was first introduced but now with all the beautiful and stunning game softwares available out there, it is pretty hard to convince people to play such a game. Even Tetris also doesn't come in plain color anymore.
Definitely a no no in today gaming arena. With all the super computing power available today, this game is really a flop in not harnessing the speed and power the pc offered to produce stunning graphic and creative blocks.
