It is a good program that helps start your succes as a dj. Its not to complicated and there are not too many buttons that can confuse you. With the graph and sound meters it is easier to mix in songs together without it.
The only con that i could find was the scratching on the other record is not simple because for obvious reasons you are not to in control because you dont have the record right in front of you. So basically the scrathes might be to short or long for what your taste might want.
Virtual Dj is a program that obviously has to deal with being a dj. For those who do not know what the letters Dj stand for, it is an abbreviation for disk jockey. The Dj brings the party to clubs, weddings, proms, and or just plain old house parties. In otder to be a dj, it takes skill and a good ear for the music. You cannot just hop on the turn tables or computer and start pressing buttons. That is why i chose to review virtual dj. Virtual dj is a program that makes things simpler for you. It doesnt make it extremely easy that you basicly learned nothing, but it isn't as hard as other things. Virtual dj gives it out to you plain and simple. As soon as you double click the icon on your desktop, the virtual dj will have a fast loading screen that will lead you to four options. These options tell you which level you would like to start at, there is beginners and the last is full adio with the dashboard and plenty more switches. I started this program when i was a little bit younger and i became a very successful dj, but this program helped me and a fellow friend of mine to kick start our career. This taught us the basic principles and needs to have a mix or song come just right. There are the tracks that play and as you play them there is a music grid at the top that shows you the length and speed of the song you are playing. If you would like to speed up the song or slow it down there are switchs on the left or right side of the setup. Under this there are some buttons that help you control the pitch of the song so it wont make song sound like the alvin and the chipmunks album. Not only is the program fast and easy to learn, but you dont need any special requirements, just come with patients and knowledge of the type of music that your going to play. Its that simple. I recommend that when you are mixxing songs together that you do not have any distractions and it is best that you use headphones so your ears can hear the beat alot better.
