Puzzle Express Review

In the 80’s and 90’s there was a similar game to this one, now we have Puzzle express which is in essence the exact same game as before only with a different name and a few added extras. The Puzzle Express game is visually designed to look like a train heading through different stations in different cities. Different shapes are moved across a conveyer belt so that you may pick out which shape you need to fit into the previous shape. Once you have two lines of shapes completed, then an image will begin to form. The images change with each station, city and puzzle, images of flowers, animals and hot air balloons are just some of the pictures that can be created through completed puzzles.

I never was that fussed on the original of this game and found it pretty pointless and un-interesting, so this game didn’t really do anything for me. The graphics are better that the original game, more colourful to say the least. There are good instructions to let you know what you need to do and although there are a few options there really isn’t enough to make this an interesting or exciting game for me anyway. I would say this if you didn’t like the original predecessor of this game then I’m sure your going to hate this game. There was no addiction factor for me here because this game for me was something you give to a child to pass 10 minutes while you get something done. There’s no real challenge for the over 10 year olds. My recommendation would be that this game is alright to pass 5 or 10 minutes beyond that it starts to get boring, like really boring. But don’t take my word for it, try it yourself, perhaps you’ll love it, I didn’t hate this game but I didn’t like it either. Its just one of those games that is just ok.
