Dungeon Scroll Review

If you enjoy D&D, Zelda, Elder's Scrolls, or any type of dungeon crawling game then this is what you'd be looking for in a word puzzle game. However, it requires you to have a computer that is not up to par with the current technologies of today.

Gameplay: This game requires you to fight the many typical rats, vamps, skeleton zombies, aquamen, and various other typical dungeon creatures to get through the game. Instead of pulling out your +10 Demon Blade to rid the dungeons of its many devious creatures, you use the many words you can conjure up out of a select few letters (8 to begin, though you can carry up to 16). Its very simple to get into, you just have to understand the basics of, point and clicking, reading, and spelling. The items that you get are explained simply and aren't confusing at the least bit as well. However, that said, the game does get a bit boring because you are doing the same thing over and over again.

Graphics: The interface of this game is very basic...think original Runescape basic. If you have a computer that is not for gaming and you love this type of world (Conan/D&D/Lord of the Rings type) then you should appreciate it. Though, it wouldn't be too hard to believe that you could find better looking games out there on the web for maybe a little bit more, if not less, than this game.

Overall: Its a decent way to kill time if you are very bored and aren't using your 1K plus computer to play better dungeon crawling games on. I don't think its worth the 13.45 that its listed at but if you have the money to spend, and you haven't found any better options, then this is the game for you.
