Pretty Good MahJongg Review
Pretty BAD MahJongg
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
A ton of variations of play
Horrible interface, background and colors are very hard on your eyes
Pretty Good MahJongg? Who came up with that title? The game was pretty much doomed to failure in my mind just because I couldn’t get passed the title. If you really, really like MahJongg type games, then you might enjoy the vast library of puzzles this has to offer. It has a ton of variety of board setups, different versions, and multiple ways to play with the tiles. That’s about all it has to offer, though; simply a great library of games. The interface is horrible! Imagine this: you have 300 games and they’re all thrown into a single folder on your computer, mostly in alphabetical order, with minimal categorization other than that. That’s what you’d be buying in this game. You might as well spend some time finding free versions of this game and compiling them into a folder on your desktop. Aside from this, the background, the colors used, and size of the chips are all annoying to your eyes. It’s very difficult to play, because it’s very difficult to look at (I’m not exaggerating; it is literally hard on your eyes). The sounds are “dings,” “beeps,” “buzzes,” however you want to describe them, but, regardless, they are totally annoying.
If your kid compiles something like this to give to you for your birthday, then love the thought and effort that went into it. With this game…save your money. I’d probably even suggest that you not waste your time with the downloadable version.
