Review:

I installed Registry First Aid on one of my machines running windows XP pro that I was considering reformatting and starting over due to daily "blue screen of death" crashes. The machine had 2 80 gig hard drives and 2 gigs of Ram.

The GUI is very well organized and execution is a breeze. It completed the analysis in about 4 minutes and had compiled a list far too long for me to through 1 by 1 (but I could have if I wanted to). I did notice several fragments of applications that I had long since uninstalled and a lot of broken paths. It took 3 total executions before it would return no problems.

The end result is that my machine stopped crashing and did run faster. I recommend this application for anyone experiencing similar issues in addition to defragmenting your drive regularly. If you uninstall a program run RFA and you'll be amazed at what is left over.

Conclusion:

This application does exactly what it claims to do. While I doubt all users will see a huge performance increase it does make things tidy and cleans up installer garbage.
