Registry First Aid Review
An impressive multi-purpose registry tool
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Easy to use, it does an excellent job of fixing invalid registry entries and really goes that extra yard.
It's only flaw would be the inability to fix 'some' Vista errors. Other than that, I've nothing but praise.
The program itself does as it claims. Registry First Aid is a thorough, fairly easy to use, and very well-designed program. I think that anyone from computer novice to expert will appreciate its overall performance. Having all the features I've found in the other cleaners on the market, and then some; I'd give RFA an enthusiastic "thumbs-up".
I've been a 'devoted' Registry Mechanic fan for many years and have sampled maybe a half dozen other registry cleaning products. I'm generally a bit leery of registry cleaners, because there are so many ineffective products out there. I found Registry First Aid to be at least as good as my favorite, and definitely far above the other cleaners I've tried.
The features that impressed me, were its multi-language capability, a quick and powerful "registry string" searching engine, a very user-friendly interface/help menu, and (naturally) how well it cleaned the registry.
The machine I used to test it was a 2 month old Presario running Vista that had moderate usage. The first scan came up with 1785 invalid entries. Over half, were marked 'safe to remove' so I deleted 931 right off the bat. Close to a quarter of the errors, however, were "Vista" errors and could not be removed; that being the only flaw in this product that I could find. I've little doubt that future versions/updates will handle those errors as well, though.
I tested the product on many levels; thoroughly. My conclusion: Registry First Aid is truly one of the most highly commendable in its class currently available. I would definitely recommend it.
If you're looking for an effective, full-featured, and affordable registry cleaner that's easy to use; then R.F.A. is the product for you.
