WebSmartz Professional Review
No, this is nowhere near to ready for initial review
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
- No pros really, other than once it is actually designed and implemented correctly, it might be useful
- Not much effort has been spent to create a user-friendly interface - There is hardly any functionality in this release for testing. It really just seems like a set of menus with static pictures at the end
- Very poor user interface design. The menus don't provide feedback when the user hovers over the menus. The layout is not professional. Literally, I have seen better layouts at the High-School level. Repeated instances of "Select Intro", "Select Site".
- I got "Run-time error '339': Component 'MSINET.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
- Whatever I clicked ended up in a page with a static picture. So, there wasn't a way to actually try the software. This software doesn't seem to be nearly ready for prime-time, and looks to be at a very starting prototype phase.
- It would have been good if the software was actually usuable, so that it's functionality can be assessed.
- There isn't really much good I can say about this software, other than it looks to be only 10% designed and implemented, and most of the work is remaining.
- I wouldn't buy this software at this stage.
I'd be happy to review this when it is actually designed and implemented to a somewhat presentable level. If this was a grade 12 computer science project, it would fail.
