Living Cookbook Review
Neatly Organized, yet uninviting to the eye
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Easy to use, great organization, good internet features and database management
Not visually appealing, uninviting to the eye, lacks videos or step by step pictures
The magic of a cookbook or a cooking lesson per se, is that somehow an illustration of the procedure is available. This doesn't mean however that the overall software lacks quality. The software itself is well designed, relatively easy to use, although a little more eye-candy would have been a great addition to this software.
Although the software is well organized and the developers do understand very well what involves to manage a kitchen in aspects such as organizing recipes, budgets, inventories and good links with the piece of software and the internet; it is also noticeable that they are excellent technicians but no artists at all.
What this program need is a little more eye-candy, probably a couple of integrated videos which would explain a simplified step-by-step, or procedure at least on the most common procedures. (after all this is what a cookbook is for isn't it?
as for the rest of the features it is very well thought of.
Really good for restaurants or hotel but not interesting for an average user at home.
