This software allows you to view movies on your ipod and does so very easily. In testing, I threw at it a .wmv file, .mov, .rm, and an .avi file and all of them converted perfect which no errors. You also have the ability to choose what video size you want and audio quality.
When looking at this piece of software, keep in mind you are getting two programs in one. One to rip DVD’s straight to your video ipod and the second to convert other types of video files for viewing on the ipod. There are 4 easy steps in getting a DVD onto your ipod:
- Start by clicking 'DVD to iPod converter' component.
- Several titles will be shown in the list after loading the DVD. The longest title is the main file of the movie. You can remove the title you don't like to convert by choosing the title, right-clicking and "Remove".
- Set "Subtitle" to what you like. Choose the path where you want to save your video files by clicking "Browse".
- Click “Convert” and find the .mp4 file and drag it into your itunes library.
