Lenogo DVD Movie to iPod Video converter claims to be the fastest converter for your iPod needs if you want to avoid that pesky company Apple. But converting a video in only half an hour can be bad for the file and it won't always come out perfect.
The interface of Lenogo actually is very simple and easy to use. You pick the DVD or file and the type of iPod you have and hit convert. In a mere half an hour you will have your new file ready to be stored on you iPod.
The setbacks of this product are prevalent. Its cost and its effectiveness. The cost is a staggering $23 for this piece of software even though there are many freeware programs that do the same thing, just not as fast. Lenogo also offers a power pack for $40 if you purchase the DVD converter with the video converter. My advice is buy the video converter and get free software that rips the files of the DVD. The effectiveness of the product is questionable. The quality is not great but the software allows you to slow down the speed for better quality.
Lenogo doesn't help too much when you need it. They'll answer basic questions, but if you need answers fast then you're in trouble.
If you don't want to spend all that time waiting for conversions and taking up all that space on your iPod then invest in a portable DVD player.
