Review:

Brickshooter has the advantage of having a very unique design and game concept. At the same time this originality proves to be an Achilles heel. The software is cheap and poorly designed, granted it is unique, but unique does not mean good.

You spend your time hurling multi-colored blocks from the inside edge towards their partners in the center. If you happen to line up three or more of these little fellows they disappear and your score is increased by one for every block smashed out of existence. The concept seems terribly simple, but it is anything but. Often times I found myself unable to find any sort of solution to continue the game.

The games graphics and music are reminiscent of the days of Tetris. Tetris however did not give me the feeling of economy class flight. The music is droll and monotonous, perhaps the inclusion of an alternate track set, or even the ability to play music from ones own PC.The graphics were poor even for a 2D game. There could at least be a little something special here or there.

Conclusion:

In conclusion Brickshooter is entertaining to a point. It might prosper as a torture device in the near future, but who knows.
