WinAvi Video Converter Review
Finally, Watch Your .AVI Movies On Your DVD Player
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Very easy to use; supports a host of file types; quicker than most converting programs. Finally, watch the movies you want on your TV, instead of that old CRT monitor.
Targeted at more experienced, knowledgeable users of DVD burning and such. Novice users may be a little bewildered at first, but its a decent program if you can just hang with it; knowing what you want to get done and doing it, are two different things.
This is a pretty decent program. It does what it says – quick and easy. It supports an enormous amount of file types, allowing one to convert many files into DVD format. The price isn’t that bad, especially when compared to other programs that do the same things. Media software can get pretty expensive, so many people actually consider this program a bargin.
I started using this program when I was trying to burn some clips of my favorite TV show (not copyrighted material) onto a DVD for my friend to watch on his DVD player. I found I couldn’t burn .avi file types and needed to convert them. When I searched on the Internet for a good program to use, I found this one. It already has rave reviews, and has just earned another one.
It is also a great program to use for computers that don’t have DivX. I would recommend going ahead and getting DivX, instead of simply using this program to convert file types, but that’s another story. As far as converting files so they can be watched through a DVD player (if the DVD player supports the media being used) this program is at the top.
Lets make this quick:
*I rate its categories as a 4/5, because thats what they earn individually. But, as a whole I give it a 3/5, because its support isn't great, and it isn't easy to learn for new users.
