EditPlus Review

This piece of software is great for those jobs where a normal text editor just isn't enough, and then more robust editors are just to much. I found that that EditPlus stands right in the middle. What makes this software really stand out to me, is that it comes with all the features you could need, yet it doesn't bombard you with useless settings that are impossible to find.

Another feature I found useful was the skeleton they give you when you choose what type of document you are creating. So when I go to create a new HTML document, the , , and meta tags are already there which was a TON of time.

Some other features I like are the FTP uploading/downloading, the project manager, and line counting which is very useful for debugging code. I also found the syntax highlighting to be just as accurate as it is convenient-especially for beginner programmers.

Overall, I think this is a great app for the everyday programmer, as well as the beginner programmer no matter what the language.
