ZoneTick World Time Clock Review
How to spend less time managing time
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Simple, powerful, gets the job done.
Limited appearance and arrangement of clocks on the taskbar.
Manage time is not easy. Manage time in different zones is even more difficult. If you have business, relatives or friends in different places and always have trouble to remember what time is it elsewhere, ZoneTick may help.
The software is simple, yet resourceful. It replaces the standard Windows clock with one (or more) much more powerful and flexible that can be placed on the desktop or on the taskbar. For each clock, you can chose the appearance and the time zone: it brings a huge list of cities along with a beautiful image of the globe.
However, the functionality does not end there. You can see the calendar, set up alarms and reminders, convert times between your locations, and even see pictures of the cities.
Another nice feature is the automatic or manual synchronization of your PC time with atomic time servers.
I found a few constraints: If you put the clocks on the taskbar, you can’t give each one a different appearance (although you can change background colors with the “highlights” option). Also, there is no way to tile or group the clocks on the taskbar to save room.
Help is shown on most configuration screens, but there is also an extensive online help. Updates to new versions are free for one year, although a little bit cumbersome: you have to send them a message asking for the update with some proof of purchase, and then you get a link to download the new version.
Overall, this is a nice application for people who have to deal with different time zones, and for what it provides, the price is a bargain.
