Review:

Where to start with this program? OK, well as far as the idea goes, pure brilliance. The problem with this program is that although it allows the user to splice, alter, and work two tracks together into one, it really lacks in the fact that if you wanted to create mashups of tracks, and then segue into the next track, say if you were at a party, you can't do so. In this case, you would have to already have created your mashups and have them on file, and play them as one track and then move the slider over to the next track when ready. This means that if you don't have time to create them in advance, you're pretty much screwed. All of the effects, and the performance of the software were awesome, besides the obvious lacking in ability to run multiple tracks. The beatsync tool is great and performs awesome. This is a great program for CREATING mashups, or splicing two tracks together, but I don't know that it would be useful for DJing a party unless you have a tracklist already planned out (bad idea in case the crowd's not liking your selection, you need to be able to shift on the fly to stay with them), or have the time beforehand to mess around with your tracks. Interface is easy, self explanatory, and pretty much anyone can figure it out. I also like the fact that it displays the bpm in the same window so that you don't have to search for the track and then bring it in and analyze it before syncing up to another track.

Conclusion:

Great buy for the price, but don't plan on DJing your house party with it.
