Measuring progress is easy as it indicates time availiability of each exercise and desired accuracy.

Before I write this review, I must admit that I havent used a typing tutor before so this was a totally new experience for me.
I am someone who types a lot at a daily level but havent had formal training in Touch Typing. After using this software, I am tempted to buy it in the future.
The best thing I liked was the manner in which the tutorial has been paced. Each of the exercises have a limit time to them hence you are always aware whether you are doing well or not.
The two other interesting features I liked was "Games" and "Satellite". I guess the "Games" part is well suited to me as have always enjoyed learning intuitively (rather than simply typing the article database in the software).
I also plan to use the "Satellite" function once I make some headway into touch typing. Will definitely switch it on when I am writing mails to friends/contacts where I can practice touch typing without worrying about the flow of my e-mail. However, it will be some time before I start using "Satellite" for my professional work.
In all, a good buy for a novice user like me. Hopefully my next review will be typed without me seeing the keyboard! :)
