DVDFab Platinum Review
THE tool for the job
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
It does its job very well, it is stable and reliable.
DVD Fab is pricey to somebody who is looking at the range of software available, this may put off people from buying it, people may resort to downloading it illegally (it happens to be incredibly popular on many bitorrent sites - which is in a sense a compliment)
I have been using DVDFab Platinum for around a year, i have run it in vista, vista x64 and most recently windows 7. I am yet to come across ANY technical drawbacks of this software. Although it may seem a premium to charge $50 for this software i believe it is certainly worth the cost. The software is advanced and has a huge number of features, such as converting DVD's to MPEG-4/DivX/XVID/H.264/AVI and MP4, converting DVD's so they are playable on numerous devices including the iPod, PSP, ZUNE, Xbox 360, PS3, PDA's and Mobile Phones. There is also the audio extraction feature and the ability to crop the movie to remove black space which really makes this software the perfect tool for the job. The software manages to pack all these features into an user friendly interface.
Support for this product is very good. A support forum is available for customers at http://club.cdfreaks.com/f116/ and customers are able to contact the customer support. There are numerous guides making it easy for anybody to use the software.
My personal experience with DVDFab's customer support is the feature on the softwares website which allows for product keys to be sent by email to you if you loose them (which i did)
I can only base my rating of the customer service based on such things as i am yet to have a technical problem with this program.
This product is worth its cost, it does what is says it does... and it does it very well.
