Does a good job of what it was designed to do...and it does it fast! The speed of this program keeps me using it.
Not meant for people that don't know computers that well. In other words grandma will find it difficult to convert all those seasons of I Love Lucy to her ipod.
OK. This is my first review but I felt like I should share my opinions on this new software. Ill try to keep it short cause I understand people reading don't typically like reading pages of opinion based material.
First of all, the idea of converting DVD movies to Ipod videos isn't a new technology or idea. I mean the whole point of having Ipods that play video media is to be able to watch videos on the go. Hence your gunna have to be able to convert the media you want to watch into a compatible format for your ipod.
With that said people are going to want to be able to do this faster and faster. Thats what this program delivers. It takes the normal time it takes to convert this type of media and literally cuts it in half. Before I got this program it seemed like it took me forever to convert video files and DVDs into watchable videos on my ipod touch. Therefore, in this respect I give it a thumbs up.
On the downside of this product I found myself struggling to get the program set up and working the way I wanted it to. After I finally figured it out It wasn't too bad. Another down point would be you have to pay for it. I mean Im sure that there are people out there that could probably get away without paying for it but for the average user paying for any software sucks. But remember anytime you pay for something you can use it forever. If I were to do it all over again I probably wouldn't. Yea its fast but not worth the hassle or the money to have a faster program for converting media.
I find myself debating weather or not this was a good investment for the task it preforms. For that reason I say save your money on this one. Its a hassle to learn and use effectively. Its just not worth the price. You could just as easy to download movies online that are already compatible with the media for an Ipod or video capable MP3 player.
