123 LogAnalyzer Review

123LogAnalyzer is probably one of the fastest tools in the category. Program developers claim that the program processes 1 GB worth of log files in 1 minute, and judging that it took me only two minutes to analyze a year and a half worth of logs, I believe that that might be an understatement. If you have a busy site with jumbo log files, 123LogAnalyzer will shock you.

123LogAnalyzer is jam-packed with features like an overstuffed sandwich. Some options and add-ins are really cool. Take geo data, for instance. If you are interested in what countries, cities or states our customers come from, you’ll get that data from practically any modern log analyzer. No big deal. But 123LogAnalyzer has an add-in that will convert the data for your US traffic and displays a map of the United States and color code each state on the basis of how much traffic came from each state (and in the reports, how many visitors came from each town).

This is a very cool feature, very visual and non-techie, yet it gives you an instant impression about where your visitors come from. One thing, though, the add-in is 99 bucks and that’s on top of 100+ dollars you have to pay for 123LogAnalyzer.

There are way too many features this log analyzer comes with, but there is a basic run down. First, 123LogAnalyzer can work both on the server side as well as analyze downloaded log files on your home or office PC. Second, 123LogAnalyzer has an amazing set of datamining features.

It can do really cool things for you, for example, you can know if people from California spend more on your goods and services than, say, West Virginia residence, or that Brits are twice as likely to sign up for the news letter as Canadians. Or that visitors from China that constitute only 2% of your total visitors consume 35% of your bandwidth.

There is also a Marketing/Advertising ROI module that takes time and some degree of sophistication and tech-savvy to set up, but it does miracles, once it’s done. It’s easily integrated with all PPC and some affiliate programs.
