BrickShooter Review
BrickShooter- Addictive, even with terrible music!
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
- challenging - timed play for increased difficulty - very easy to learn - terrible music sets a Tetris-like mood - easy instalation
- red font with grey icons makes some text hard to read
At first, I thought BrickShooter would end up being similar to Zuma or Tetris. I was wrong and I was right.
It's similar to many classics because it keeps you playing with its challenging and stimulating play. I was pleased to see that there are color options- 5 to 10.
For me, it would be great if there was the option of having only one color.
The game's concept is quite simple; connect three squares in any way and *poof*, they're gone. What makes this game particularily challenging is that you can 'shoot' the bricks from the top, bottom, or from the sides.
When I first started playing the game, the music was driving me crazy. I really thought it was terrible.
Thankfully to turn the music off, TERMINAL studio and the creator(s) of this game made it easy to navigate between the 'options' and game-play.
I decided to let the music play and get a feel for the game. The music has a 'Tetris' cheesy vibe to it, which lulls you into spending a long time playing this game.
One thing that I don't like is the red font on the right-hand-side. The text is somewhat difficult to read with the grey icons in the background.
Would I buy this game? Absolutely not! I like to sleep, and I know that if I have this game on my computer, I will play it a lot.
Do I recommend this game? Absolutely.
This game is exactly what you want in a puzzle-type game; the concept is easy to understand, it becomes addictive, and it remains challenging.
