Dropheads Review
Fun, for a few minutes.
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Very easy to learn and playable
The "Drop in Place" concept is a bit played out
Dropheads is a very easy game to learn and play, but it seems to get "old" very quickly. Arcade Mode isn't worth playing much past the 4th level, as it becomes repetitive. Strategy Mode, however, piqued my interest for a few more levels.
The graphics are smooth, and the cutesy Dropheads are entertaining at first, but that's about as far as it goes in entertainment value. There are many, MANY free Flash games available online that use (and reuse) the same idea without the relatively hefty price tag.
Some Suggestions:
- Add a pause button... Not all of us can devote the amount of time, undisturbed, to complete a level.
- The "Fullscreen" on / off switch doesn't seem to work. Same as above... its not a game easily played a work.
- Develop the plight of the Dropheads throughout the game. It seems to run on and on with no real goal.
$16.95 is too steep for this release. It WOULD, however, make a fun Facebook app.
