BrickShooter Review
Good Idea, Bad Approach
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Easy to get a hang of. Can be addicting for people who like simple puzzle games.
Lack of effects. Hard to hold player's interest. Not a unique idea.
I am one to get addicted to mind puzzling games such as this, and this one was no exception. However, that is just my personality. Looking broader than my own point of view, some may find this game boring because of the almost complete lack of effects. However, the game can get pretty complicated; with seemingly never ending levels and options to select a large number of colors. But, where is the excitement? When I proceed to the next level, I'm not thrilled. Same thing all over again. Granted, I'm sure quite a few people would hold some interest in the game if it was played for free online. But pay for it? Likely a disappointment to the buyer.
The idea of the game was smart, yet reminds me a little too much of the game bejeweled. Makes me wonder if bejeweled never existed, would the creator of this game ever had come up with the idea? Unlikely in my opinion. In conclusion, this game is based off of bejeweled, with a less appealing structure than can lose a player's interest very quickly. This game is only for a certain type of person, and does not appeal to the average joe.
Spending money on this game will cause the buyer disappointment.
