MySlideShow Review

This review is about MySlideShow, it's basically a WindowsMovieMaker but it's used to make slideshows with your own pictures.

This program has a fairly easy-to-use UI, you basically find the directory (ie. My Pictures), drag-and drop. Once it's in, you can rotate it, and add a song. the preview feature is really nice, allows you to preview on the run; plus you can add some pretty neat effects, typical wipes/transitions you get from PowerPoint. I think the SCREEN-SAVER feature is awesome, you can make some really high-end screen savers with this program...

I'd say it's kind of pricy for the cost that it is, pretty sure Windows Movie Maker can do the exact same thing with similar effects, however it's not as easy to use. I had difficulty figuring out how I could make a movie out of this...as a matter of fact I still can't find it.

Overall, I'd say this a program you'd definitely want to have. It's good if you want to show friends and family a series of photos (vacation, childhood, etc) and you want to add your own effects and music. It beats the standard ones you get with Nero et al, plus it's a bit easier. If you're NOT technically inclined, definitely consider this program. Overall 8.5/10.
