A digital creation based on the classic chess game rules. It was first designed centuries ago to teach squires to control soldiers in battle, back in medieval times.
The board is divided into a ten by ten grid where you can move the pieces across the board and capture the enemy pieces. The first to capture the enemy king is the winner. This is called check mate.
Gameplay is basic. You are basically restricted to moving the piece according to the rules. Many features are available to use, such as time, help, history and hints. The views can be changed from 2D to 3D, change the skins and rotate the board.
The game can be played online or against the PC. The further you advance, the harder the PCs AI becomes, or you can test your friends intelligence online.
Sound effects were poor, but the graphics were above average. No real animations to write home about. A good game for the children to play due to no violence.
One for all the classic chess lovers out there. A game for both sexes and has no violence. A good, fun strategy game to play. Good manipaultion of the playing board. Fun for all ages!!! Enjoy.
