Pros:
Very challenging, could provide a lot of fun for die-hard puzzle fans.
Cons:
Much too expensive. Doesn't offer anything new to the genre. Boring and repetitive.
Review:

It seems puzzle games involving brightly colored blocks and the new, exciting ways to get rid of them are a dime-a-dozen these days. They can be found on every cell phone in the world, and a quick search for them on the search engine of your choice would leave you with hundreds, if not thousands to choose from. Some are amazingly addictive, and others, well... not so much.

The goal, as stated above, is to eliminate all of the colored blocks. You do so by matching them with other blocks of the same color, and receive points for doing so. This may sound like a good idea, but the presentation shot down any chance of enjoyability for me.

Brickshooter is one of the many, and I repeat, MANY of the bland puzzle games that you can stumble across. If I were to tell you this game was bad, I would be lying to you. The game is far from bad, but is at least ten miles away from good. The concept is interesting, and might somewhat resemble fun if it wasn't presented so poorly. The graphical features are outdated and bland, and the music is comparable to a cat prancing about on a keyboard.

What dazzles me is the fact that they would charge the customer for the full version of this game. What dazzles me even more is the amount. Charging $17.95 for the full version is unspeakable, considering the only new features are the ability to save, submit your scores, and updates. Games similar to this one, if not too similar, can be found not only for free, but also browser-based, meaning there's nothing to download.

Conclusion:

The free version is fun for a while, but gets boring quick. I'd steer clear away from paying money for this game, let alone such a large amount.
