Youda Farmer - Howdy Boredom!
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Multilingual support; Acceptable graphics;
Poor, unrealistic concept; Dizzy overhead camera; Dodgy online demo; Confusing in higher stages;
Youda Farmer by Youdagames takes you to the countryside and gets you acquainted with the process of farming and marketing where you take charge of a farm and produce goods to serve a nearby village, constantly expanding your farm and clientele to earn more. The game has good graphics but they do blunder because of the not so viewer friendly overhead camera while seeing your truck zip through the longer route to your destination, making you feel a bit dizzy. The game concept is pretty unrealistic where it takes seconds to generate agricultural produce, the only thing we have to do is collect the finished product and throw it in the truck. The game becomes boring as there are only a few things that can be done, that too, with simple clicks and the SFX is pretty mediocre. The upgrades such as buying a dairy farm, pig stable, etc do not increase the fun of the game. instead, they complicate things and make it look like a huge waste of time. You gotta collect payments and take orders within a few seconds to prevent them from vanishing, which makes things more jumbled up in the higher stages of the game. Playing the demo online is a disgrace because of the long time taken by the flash pre loader to show up. The game could have been better if it concentrated on one farm activity in detail rather than mixing all of them up to lead to a disgraceful game.
There is absolutely no need to waste $9.95 on a lame game like this.
