Cosmo Bots Review
A great Qix clone
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Good graphics and music, interesting new ideas
Too expensive, not very original
Cosmo Bots is basically a clone of the old arcade game called Qix. The main task in the game is to fill out a majority of the board area by sending out lines from your "bot", which is controlled by the mouse. While doing this, you also have to watch out for the computer controlled robots and make sure that they will not cross your lines while you're drawing them.
I've always loved these kinds of games and Cosmo Bots is definitely not an exception. I found myself just clicking on, wanting to play level after level. The game has a huge amount of levels and the graphics are simple but good looking. The music is suiting and changes now and then so it's not repetitive either.
The game play is a bit more advanced than in the original Qix. The game has different power-ups that you can get from shutting out enemies. The game also has power-downs so you have to be aware of what you're collecting.
While Cosmo Bots is a game that will kill some spare time, it is not worth the $17.99. There are games that are very similar to Cosmo Bots that you can play for free in your browser.
A great time killer that is very addictive, but it's not worth the $17.99.
